چکیده

Florida citrus production has declined by more than 70% because of Huanglongbing (HLB), and a major cause tree decline is nutrient uptake limitations caused HLB. This study was conducted on 6–9-year-old “Valencia” sweet orange [Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck] Swingle rootstock in the central southwest to evaluate effects macronutrient fertilization foliar application Mn Fe growth yield HLB-affected trees Florida. Seven treatments, including control (standard fertilization), two levels macronutrients (1× Macro 2× Macro), three micronutrients (F-1×, F-2×, F-4×), were arranged randomized complete block design locations for 3 years. Trees subjected 1× + F-4× showed highest average leaf concentration both sites through all The treatment that contained F-2× at least 4% increase canopy volume 2020 2021 site. However, 12% In 2021, F-1× resulted 15% greater efficiency treated with increased sites. general, parameters results treatments supplemental over current recommendations have strong potential yield.

Comparison of Leaf Components of Sweet Orange and Sour Orange (Citrus Sp.)

Studies had shown that oxygenated compounds were important in food products. It seems that Citrus species had a profound influence on this factor. The goal of the present study was to investigate on flavor components of two Citrus species. In the early week of June 2012, about 500 g of leaves were collected from many parts of the same trees. Leaf components were extracted using water distillati...
